Turkey's first interceptor drone weapon

HAN Robotics - TAYGAN

Autonomous interceptor drone weapon system developed against fixed-wing and rotary-wing threats.

TAYGAN combines target detection, acquisition, lock-on and mission management on an ergonomic launcher that can be carried by a single operator. Powered by VIGU hardware and AI, it performs missions without requiring a remote controller or ground station.

Interceptor capability that launches fast and makes decisions in flight

TAYGAN executes fully autonomous or semi-autonomous missions against hostile fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs. It can update target selection in flight, abort missions, return safely, and compress the full operating loop into a single-operator workflow.

Architecture powered by VIGU

The drone and launcher system are powered by HAN Robotics VIGU hardware and AI. This architecture brings automatic detection, lock-on, in-flight target switching, and agile field decision-making together in a single system.

Effective against fixed and rotary wing threats

Delivers an interceptor profile effective against hostile fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs.

Fully and semi-autonomous missions

Supports fully autonomous or semi-autonomous operation depending on the mission scenario.

Automatic target detection

Detects, acquires, and manages lock-on automatically.

Target switching in flight

Can select or switch targets during the mission according to threat priority.

Mission abort and return

Can abort the mission when required and execute a fully autonomous return.

Controller-free mission execution

Operates without requiring a remote controller or ground station.

Ergonomic launcher

All controls are integrated on the ergonomic launcher unit.

Single-operator use

Portable, deployable, and operable by a single operator.

Day and thermal imaging

Provides mission awareness in diverse conditions with a day and thermal gimbal camera system.

VIGU hardware and AI

Decision support, perception, and mission management layers run on the HAN Robotics VIGU architecture.
